🥇 Moonbeam and Acala Networks launch the first Polkadot cross-chain connection allowing for native communications and token transfers between the two chains without the need for bridges! With this integration, ACA & aUSD, the native token & stablecoin of Acala, are now both available on Moonbeam! Token holders can deposit these assets for use on Moonbeam through the dApp dashboard and, from there, can be used across Moonbeam’s DeFi ecosystem as xcACA and xcaUSD. GLMR will become available on Acala following Moonbeam’s runtime upgrade later this month. After which, GLMR can be used with Acala’s DeFi apps and considered as a future supported collateral type for minting aUSD stablecoins.
